he Nitecore HC30 head torch has been designed to be lightweight and compact, yet extremely powerful. Made from aircraft grade aluminium and weighing in at only 40 grams it is comfortаble to wear for long periods. Utilising a Cree XM-L2 U2 LED with a maximum output of 1000 lumens. The HC30 has a wide 100 degree beam to illuminate everything in the users field of vision. It can also be rotated upwards and downwards easily. Maximum beam distance is 162 meters in turbo mode. The torch can use 1x18650 or 2xRCR123 or 2xCR123 batteries. 18650 Li-ion are recommended for the best runtimes. Button tops cells are required due to the reverse polarity protection. In addition to the headband the HC30 includes a removable two-way titanium plated pocket clip so it can be clipped to clothing or used free standing. A CNC machined uni-body head section with cooling fins helps dissipate heat in all modes, and the Nitecore HC30 dynamically adjusts brightness according to the internal temperature of the torch.
